The most obvious noticeable signs of impending ovulation is the increase in wetness and slippery cervical fluid. It can be so plenty that women notice a strong cervical fluid literally flowing down when they are using the toilet.

If you notice this, know that ovulation is about to occur in a day or two. This is what is referred to as Primary Fertility Signs.

Some women are lucky enough to notice other signs on a regular basis. All of which are helpful in being able to further understand their cycles. These signs are referred to Secondary Fertility Signs because they do not necessarily occur in all women or in every cycle in individual women. Yet they are still very practical for giving women additional information to recognize their fertile and infertile phase. Secondary signs of ovulation approaches may include;

  • Mid cycle spotting
  • Increased sexual feelings
  • Pains or aches near the ovaries and uterus.
  • Fuller vagina lips.
  • Abnormal bloating
  • Water retention
  • Increased energy level.
  • Heightened signs of vision, smell and taste
  • Increased sensitivity in breast and skin breast tenderness.

If you notice any of these signs know that your ovulation is near and you can start babydancing.
